Blissful Behemoth CD

The Behemoth performs original progressive rock, as well as occasional Gentle Giant and other progressive rock covers.  Songs like As Young as I'm Old and Giant for Another Hour are intended parodies of Gentle Giant's style, sound, arrangements, and other idiosyncrasies (including even keyboardist Kerry Minnear's singing.)  One of the projects to which the Behemoth contributes is the Global On-Reflection Giant Gathering's (GORGG) compilation CD series.  Behemoth songs are written, arranged and produced by Adam Levin (who's delighted to re-connect with his prog-inine side and nurture his inner Giant.) “...thoroughly enjoyable... awesome and honorable... and the lyrics are hilarious!... nail[s] that Minnear feel about as much as anyone can who's not named Minnear." -- Members of On-Reflection   [MORE CD INFO & NEWS]   [CRITIQUES]   [ORDER]

AS YOUNG AS I'M OLD is a tongue-in-cheek tribute to Gentle Giant.  Its lyrics incorporate some of their song titles, and its music includes two brief quotes from their song Memories of Old Days.  The song is featured on GORGG's 2006 compilation CD Giant for Another Hour (aka Giant for an Hour, Disc 2.)

The 'B' section's music in GIANT FOR ANOTHER HOUR was first composed in 1979.  It was completed and arranged in 2006, inspired by the reemergence of Gentle Giant's music, at which time the other musical sections and lyrics were written.  Thus, the song's music stretches from Gentle Giant's last year as a band to our 2006 tributes projects.  Its title was inspired by GORGG's compilation CD Giant for Another Hour.

VERBALOSIS is a work in 3 parts:  I. Inspired by the Sound of Your Own Voice  II. Verbalosity  III. Family Discussion
